What: Looking for prayers written by Christian teens, aged 14-18, for compilation in

Ups & Downs: Prayers By & 4 Teens
(a Book of Prayers BY teens, FOR teens)

Who: Book to be compiled BY a teen in conjunction with Liguori Publications,
a nationally recognized publishing house

Please consider submitting prayers
on the following themes:
• SEARCHING and QUESTIONING
• Feeling UNHAPPY, APATHETIC, and UPSET with Life and/or Faith
• HANGING ON to Priorities in the Midst of Life’s Chaos
• Finding Happiness, Contentment in Life; Living FULLY ALIVE with God
Prayers can take any format including,
 but not limited to:
• poems and personal song lyrics
• one or two line statements or questions
• stream of consciousness
• “traditional-styled” prayers
• Graphic art/illustration (comic-style)
• short personal narratives
Authors of published submissions will not only see their name in print, but will also receive two complimentary copies of the prayer book!
