Super-Jesus?

The story of superman and the story of Jesus Christ relate in many ways, but I have found three connections that I think are very significant. First, Jesus walked on water and Superman flies and can hop over tall buildings with ease. This shows that both figures have amazing power beyond any average human! Second, Jesus and Superman not only constantly battle for truth and justice; they also help the people in their lives. Between Jesus healing the sick and helping blind men see, Superman was saving Lois Lane and others from Lex Luthor. Finally, Jesus was the only son of God the father and he sent Jesus to Earth. Superman was not only the only son of HIS father, Jor-El, but he was also sent to earth to live among humans.

There are many more reasons how and why the stories of Superman and Jesus Christ connect. In fact, Superman was probably created as a Christ figure, to teach children about the Bible from a different perspective.
